Menkyo Shuro Tsuru Choji katana for iai
In terms or aesthetics as well as practical use, this is probably as good as it gets. The 2013 Choji Iai shinken project is a prestigious undertaking in combining a unique temper line pattern with practical iai use.
In short, long swords are difficult to harden, sword with choji hamon are also difficult to harden. Adding a bo-hi will also make it more difficult to harden.
Needless to say making these was quite difficult but the results are phenomenal! The perfect sword for the advanced martial arts practitioner!
