Tsukamaki tool kujiri
€ 8.50A kujiri is one of the most important tools of a tsukamakishi (traditional handle wrapper). This small scribing awl is actually a Japanese woodworking tool used to place markings on the wood.
In the art of tsukamaki, the tip is used to reposition the tsuka-ito and hishigami (be careful not to tear the ito with the sharp point!) and the rear is used to flatten the cross-overs by tapping on them.
This small 120mm tool may seem simple but it's impossible to perform proper tsukamaki without!
