A personal message

The Japanese sword is known throughout the world mostly as the katana and is said to be the sword and soul of the samurai. Here at the Samurai Workshop we have completely embraced every aspect of the Japanese sword and the rich history that goes with it.

The path of the sword knows many side tracks and we humbly invite you to join us on this life long journey. The heart of The Samurai Workshop is easy explainable; we are a workshop where swords are brought to life, repaired and sold. Every sword deserves the right to find the right owner and we are here to assist you to find yours!

On our website you'll find beautiful, carefully chosen products that are of the highest quality. Whether you practice iaido, kenjutsu or a different traditional Japanese sword art, we have exactly the sword to match your body proportions, personal taste and sword school. Also collectors are more than welcome and we'd love to explain you every historical detail that we had in mind while designing and assembling our swords. If you're looking for a sharp or unsharp sword, a practical cutter or a fully traditionally polished shinken, you can count on our best efforts and expertise!

The Samurai Workshop is a leading authority in the sales, customization and restoration. Swords smiths, polishers, handle wrappers, wood craftsmen and fitting makers are ALL the true keepers of the Japanese sword tradition and we deliberately choose to work with many artisans, martial artists and craftsmen over the entire world. This is our biggest pride: the friends and the people we share our passion with.

Besides running the shop and the workshop, we have an extensive knowledgebase known by The Samurai University and the most active sword-related Facebook community on the web.

With great honor we want to welcome you in The Samurai Workshop!
