Sac de sabreWhen travelling to the dojo, whether it's by car, bus or bicycle; you need to properly pack your training weapons. Not only to avoid damages but also by law you are required to make sure the weapon isn't visible or accessible (so it cannot be used). This applies to your car as well so make sure you close the bag or even better, put them in the trunk of your car!
Note that all Japanese training weapons are considered weapons, regardless if they are made of wood or blunt aluminum. So your bokken, jo, shinai or iaito are weapons and need to be handled with proper care. Sshinken don't need any explanation, right? ( ^ ^ )
